Hi! I'm Lauren.
I'm a twenty-six year old Essex girl now living in the Lincolnshire countryside, with my fiancé Pete and our Tibetan Terrier Harper. That's them, up there ^.
I studied at the University of Kent and graduated in 2012. After a couple of years of working in PR & marketing I decided the 'corporate' world wasn't for me, so I walked away from the 9-5 life and set up my own business instead - two of them, in fact. Now I walk dogs by day, and freelance as an editor and proofreader by night.
I started this blog in 2010 as a way of recording the highs and lows of my weight loss journey with Weight Watchers. Over the course of two and a half years I lost just over 7st, and was able to graduate from university in a size 12 dress, having arrived three years before in a size 22. After I graduated, this blog lost some of its direction and I, in turn, lost some of my passion for it. My weight yo-yo'd a little, but held steady close to where I wanted to be. A Little Less of Lauren no longer felt like a weight loss blog, and after a year of of half-hearted posts I called it a day in 2013.
Now it's 2017...and I'm back! My life has changed dramatically since I stopped writing here, but I never stopped missing it and the support I got throughout my weight loss was invaluable. Eventually I decided the time was right for me to revive this blog, and I look forward to sharing my new weight loss and fitness adventures (as well as a bit of everything else, too!) with you all.
